UTAS is located on the island state of Tasmania, south of the Australian mainland. Programs for international students are offered on campuses in Tasmania’s two largest cities, Hobart and Launceston.

Application Process:
UTAS has two main semesters, Semester 1 runs Febuary to June and Semester 2 runs July to November. Applications opens in August to commence study in semester 1 the following year. Applications for semester 2 opens in March. In order to be accepted to study at UTAS, you need to meet the course specifice prerequisites.UTAS requirement under Streamlined Visa Processing ( SVP)  can be checked from University website. 

Academic Requirement – Undergraduate
Admission to undergraduate courses at UTAS requires qualifications equivalent to the 12th year of schooling in Australia. Applicants must achieve the required grade in their studies, meet prerequisite subjects and the English language requirements to be eligible for an offer. Students who do not meet these requirements may enrol in the UTAS Foundation Studies Program.

Academic Requirement – Postgraduate
Admission to most postgraduate courses at UTAS requires qualifications equivalent to an Australian Bachelors degree. Applicants must achieve the required grade in their studies, meet prerequisite subjects and the English language requirements to be eligible for an offer.
